Study of the histological changes of the brown fat tissue in starved albino rats

Abstract
|
|
|
The types of normal brown fat cells were Classified to T, T~ and T3 and starved to find whether fatty substance in it disappear or not and. the results were obtained as followings.
1) The number of fat droplets in brown fat cells was decreased after 14 days clu-onic starvation.
2) The brown fat cell which do not contains fat droplets in its cytoplasm appears after 22 days chronic starvation.
3) After 30 days chronic starvation, fat drop-lets in all brown fat cells were depleted completely.
4) The Tl types of brown fat cells were decreased but the ´1´~ types of brown fat cells were increased as thy day of starvation progress.
5) The types of brown fat cells after stan~ation have a signii´icant changes statistically(By F-test).
